Harper & Sons, Inc was grateful to be selected as the team member to construct the 2nd generation health center for local community health provider Choptank Community Health System, Inc. This uniquely designed, multi-wing facility brings a host of local health care services to rural communities, and delivers modern medical care in an efficient building. The project included full site development, including clearing, new utilities, storm water facilities, site improvements, and completion of a public street. All grading and utilities were performed by Harper & Sons’ site crews.
The building included pediatric, adult, and bariatric patient exam rooms, medical gas systems, an ambulance portico, dental wings for adults and children, and staff support, meeting, and provider offices. The design integrated wall-coverings and architectural features indicative of the rural Eastern Shore, and the spaces were designed to be welcoming to patients and staff.
The project is an excellent example of details in architecture and construction that both Choptank Community Health System and Harper & Sons Inc are proud of and will provide years of service to the community.
